The eastern part of Mongolia is the place where you can experience the most beautiful sunset and sunrise which makes it unique for both local and foreign travellers. The tour includes the historic battlefield of Khalkh gol of 1939 as well as the most eastern lake that straddles the border between Mongolia and China, 4th largest city Choibalsan and Steppe of Menen.

- Day 1. Ulaanbaatar.
- Day 2. Ulaanbaatar – Choibalsan. (B/L/D)
- Day 3. Choibalsan – Menengiin Tal – Buir nuur. 300km. (B/L/D)
- Day 4. Buir Nuur – Khalkh Gol sum. 120 km. (B/L/D)
- Day 5. Buir Nuur – Choibalsan-Ulaanbaatar. 300km. (B)
- Day 6. Ulaanbaatar / Departure. (B)
Day 1. Ulaanbaatar
Upon arrival in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia, you will be greeted by your guide and driver. Transfer to a hotel. After check-in the hotel and rest for some time, we will start city tour including a visit Gandan monastery, National history museum followed by walking to Chinggis khaan square and also explore Zaisan memorial hill for the whole city panoramic view. Overnight stay in a hotel (L/D).
Day 2. Ulaanbaatar-Choibalsan
Choibalsan is the centre of Mongolian Eastern region and the city is famous for ancient historical sites. You will enjoy the monument and memorial of Mongolian Heroes, Soviet pilots, Soviet hero N.F. Gastello, G.K.Jukov Museum, the Commander of the Red Army Corps. City tour including the history museum of Dornod, a man’s rock pile, a walk to Bunhan hill and going for a walk on the Youth’s square. Overnight and dinner in a hotel (B/L/D).
Day 3. Choibalsan – Menengiin tal – Buir nuur (300km)
Drive to Buir lake. Explore and walk around lake and enjoy a walk around the shores of lake which is home to countless birds. You will have the opportunity to take in the breathtaking scenery of this beautiful lake. Fishing, swimming and sunbathing are available. Possible for camel riding and nomadic family visit. Overnight stay in a Ger camp (B/L/D).
Day 4. Buir nuur – Khalkh Gol sum-Buir nuur (120 km)
This morning, enjoy the sunset and have breakfast at the camp. Drive to Khalkh Gol sum. The area of Khalkhgol sum is famous for its ancient historical sites. For instance, sightseeing of the Battles of Khalkhin Gol, statues, human-like stone, ikh burhant complex. You will enjoy the monument of Khalkhgol victory, statue of Yakovlevch, monument of Mongolian border guards, memorial 90 warriors, statue complex of victory and a museum ‘Yalalt or Victory’. Overnight stay in a Ger camp (B/L/D).
Day 5. Buir nuur –Choibalsan-Ulaanbaatar (300 km)
After breakfast, drive back to Choibalsan city. On the way, enjoy the great steppe of Menen. Picnic lunch. Arrival at the airport of Choibalsan. Upon arrival in Ulaanbatar, check in to the hotel and have some rest. Overnight stay in a hotel (B/L/D).
Day 6. Departure
Transfer to the railway station or the airport for international departure.
